The word resolution has it's root in "resolute"; Firm or determined; unwavering; and in "resolve": To make a firm decision about; To change or convert; To find a solution to; solve; To bring to a usually successful conclusion;. None of these indicate something that remains the same. They all indicate something that changes. Statistically, most people will make a resolution more than once before making a successful change. While your own best efforts got you where you are, that doesn't mean you can't be successful this time. You are not alone. Whether you join or form a support group, seek coaching or therapy, read a book or manage the change by your own renewed efforts, support is here to help you navigate toward success. The single most important factor of change, however, is to do something different. Get out of "the box", out of your comfort zone. Your own best efforts got you where you are. Consider new ideas. Recently, Stephanie had the experience of stepping out of her normal routine and getting a positive result. She discovered an over 30 single's event (find out more), held weekly on Tuesday nights. She decided to go without a date or a girlfriend. To her delight, there were happy, attractive, warm people there. She spent the evening dancing and receiving compliments. Yay!
